Chemical Dependency Sectors


The Western New York Chemical Dependency Consortium (WNY CDC) is a regional forum of addiction professionals convening to address policy issues, best practices and community norms to enhance the effective delivery of services to our communities.

Meetings are held the third Friday of every month and new members are always welcome!

The WNY CDC brings together addiction professionals from the eight counties of western New York for:

Monthly meetings to network and provide linkages among prevention, treatment, recovery, housing, research and education/training professionals.

Publicizes opportunities for professional development.
Provides a direct connection to representatives of the NYS OASAS Regional Office.

Recognizes individuals and organizations that excel in their contribution to the
interests of the field.
Initiates local and state legislative advocacy which reflects the needs of the region.

Provides access to information provided by NYS ASAP, the state chemical dependency advocacy group
